brigid: A fat faced baby in a cap is stuffed into a mail sack worn by a postal carrier. (what.)
Having been kicked in the pants by a special someone, I'm going to try really hard to post a review of a webcomic every day this week.

I also want to stick to a theme this week.

This weeks' theme? YOUNG ADULT WEB COMICS, webcomics aimed at a younger audience.

I'm especially looking at Bad Machinery, Monster Pulse, Paranatural, Selkie,What Birds Know.

Any other suggestions? Link us up in comments here OR write and post your own reviews!

EDIT TO ADD:

Now that I think about it, most (all?) of these aren't YA, they're more middle school.

It just might be that I do not have a good conception of what a YA work is, specifically--as soon as I could start reading popular adult fare as a youngster I did so indiscriminately with YA stuff along side it. It might be because I went straight from reading the predecessor Scary-Go-Round, which was not YA at all I think, and so have that hanging over it. Heaven only knows there's certain labeled YA fiction I've read lately such as Liar and Feed that are far more explicit or brutal than I've expected to be generally accepted as YA fiction. I think maybe I unfairly attribute the genre as needing to appease people who faint at mentions of sexytimes.
