Thank you so much for that post! I'm thinking of/working on a webcomic myself (I want to get ~20 pages done before I start posting), so I appreciate all the help I can get.

One question, if it's okay: you mention free wordpress blogs early in the post -- is the rest of the post (add-ons etc) also applicable in that case?

Also, wow And Shine Heaven Now! I used to love that comic way back when! Thank you for it, it brought me much joy in dark times.

Having a substantial buffer before you start posting is always a good idea!

Alas, free Wordpress blogs have no plugins, and a limited selection of themes without much customization. You can add some of those things by upgrading to a paid business account, but I'm sure those have other limitations -- and as long as you're spending money anyway, it might as well be on your own space.
